This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which orders placed on Eatabita can be cancelled. By placing an order on our platform, you agree to this policy.

1. Order Cancellation by Customer

Orders can be cancelled only within 1–2 minutes of placing the order, before the restaurant starts preparation.
Once the restaurant begins preparing the food, the order cannot be cancelled.
Cancellation requests must be made through the website/app or by contacting support immediately.
If cancellation is approved, the refund (if prepaid) will be processed as per the Refund Policy.

2. Non-Cancellable Situations

Orders cannot be cancelled in the following cases:

Food preparation has already started
Order is out for delivery
Customer provided incorrect address or phone number
Customer is unavailable at delivery location
Cash on Delivery order refused at doorstep

In such cases, no refund will be issued.

3. Cancellation by Eatabita

Eatabita reserves the right to cancel orders due to:

Restaurant unavailable
Item out of stock
Technical or payment issues
Delivery partner unavailable
Suspected fraudulent activity

If we cancel your prepaid order, a full refund will be issued.

4. Refund on Cancellation

Approved cancellations will be refunded to the original payment method.
Refund processing time: 5–7 business days (may vary by bank/payment gateway).
Wallet or coupon refunds will be returned to the Eatabita wallet (if applicable).

5. Subscription / Offer Orders

If any promotional or discounted order is cancelled:

Coupon or offer may not be reinstated
Platform reserves the right to decide refund eligibility
