This Refund & Return Policy explains the conditions under which refunds or returns are applicable for orders placed on Eatabita.

Since Eatabita deals with perishable food items, returns are limited and handled as per the policy below.

1. No Return Policy (Food Items)

Food items once delivered cannot be returned due to hygiene and safety reasons.
However, refunds or replacements may be provided in valid cases listed below.

2. Eligible Refund Cases

You may be eligible for a refund or replacement if:

  • Wrong item delivered

  • Missing items from order

  • Food damaged or spilled during delivery

  • Order not delivered

  • Order cancelled by Eatabita or restaurant

  • Quality issue (with proof within time limit)

You must report the issue within 30 minutes of delivery.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Incorrect address or phone number provided

  • Customer unavailable at delivery time

  • Order refused at doorstep

  • Delay due to traffic/weather

  • Taste preference complaints

  • Late complaint after 30 minutes

  • Partially consumed order

4. Refund Process

If your refund request is approved:

  • Refund will be processed to original payment method

  • Refund time: 5–7 business days

  • Wallet payments may be refunded to wallet

  • COD orders may be refunded via wallet or bank transfer (if approved)

5. Order Cancellation Refund

  • If order is cancelled before preparation → Full refund

  • If cancelled after preparation started → No refund

  • If cancelled by Eatabita → Full refund

6. Replacement Option

In some cases, we may offer:

  • Replacement order

  • Coupon or credit
    instead of a refund.

7. Fraud Prevention

Eatabita reserves the right to:

  • Reject false refund claims

  • Block users misusing refund policy

  • Request photo proof for verification
